An Indepth Look Into A Geek's Soul

Man, people need to stop being mean to the new Star Wars flicks.  I've been discussing this with various people all day today.  I don't understand why people don't like the new ones.  They were all great movies.  Which one is my favorite of the new trilogy?  Probably Revenge of the Sith.  Why?  Because it's just raw awesome.

I think my favorite part about that movie is when Obi-Wan and Yoda go back to the Jedi Temple after the clones killed everybody.  Yoda is all kicking ass, but then he just goes all awesome on everyone.  He's all like "Watch this Kenobi" and he hurls his saber at a trooper, impales him, climbs up the dude to get his lightsaber back, then jumps into another clone and killing him before the first guy reaches the group.  Cut to Kenobi going "HOLY SHIT" and that pretty much sums it up.  Freaking awesome.

But seriously guys, it's a great movie.  I think it has the most awesome character, General Grievous, who just kicks ass, even if he dies rather easily in the game.  But he dies against Kenobi, perhaps the single greatest jedi ever.  The whole movie just makes me happy.  I skipped school to go see this movie with Steve, and I wouldn't change that day, even if my french teacher chewed us out the next day.  Great stuff.

Now, I'm not trying to say the new trilogy is better than the old one.  I think it's about equal really.  And definitely, they both are better than some of the books that came out afterwards, and especially better than some of the games that came out as well.  I think that the New Jedi Order seriies of Star Wars books are definitely a good read.  You guys should pick them up sometime.  Ah, but I'm just rambling now.  I'll shut up and let you guys be.
