Day Nine: Favorite Steel-Type Pokemon

Ah yes, Steelix. He evolves from Onix, which was the very first Pokemon card that I ever recieved (from Joel, naturally). He took what I liked about Onix and cranked up all the right aspects, namely, the defense. Yeah, he's a bit slower, but he hits a lot harder than Onix could ever hope to. Plus, being one of the first Steel types, they spared nothing on his ...

Day Eight: Favorite Ghost-Type Pokemon

Haunter gets by on his insanely cool looks. Yes, Gengar is better, and there are stronger Ghost pokemon in future generations, but Haunter takes them all when it comes to his sheer awesome looks. I normally used him in the first generation, even though Alakazam was the superior choice. Plus, have you seen this guy in the show? ...

Day Five: Favorite Ground Type Pokemon

Camerupt is a sweet little Pokemon. He has this typing that, while not the best for defensive, is pretty alright when it comes to attacking moves. It almost has the best of both worlds, with being able to hit hard with both special and physical attacks. Yes, he is slow, both mentally and in terms of speed, but that just adds to his charm....

Day Four: Favorite Poison Type Pokemon

Tiny picture, big punch. For those of you who can't see it, that's a Weezing. Specifically, it's the Weezing that belongs to James of Team Rocket. And yes, it is crying. Why is it crying? Not sure. Anyways, Weezing is a blast from the past. I honestly didn't think much about him before the third generation of gam...

Day Three: Favorite Flying Type Pokemon

Archeops is the newest inclusion into my favorites list. At first I was kind of iffy on him, wasn't sure if he would work out well. Then, he smacked people around left and right and he was destined to remain on my team. I actually like this guy more enough to put him on to my favorite's team, which I'm sure I'll get around to showing ...

Day Two: Favorite Fighting Type Pokemon

Machamp has always been a pretty sweet Pokemon to use in the games. The moves tha the learns have always been kind of shallow and lacking a whole lot of depth, at least the ones he learns naturally. Once you get into breeding and TMs, he certainly gets a great deal better. There was always something about a four armed, super strong guy...

So, my friend Joel recently started up a tumblr, and I've been reading it because hey, why the hell not. It's actually rather enjoyable. Here's a link if you want to check it out for your own self. Anyways, during December he was doing this thing called the Pokeddex, whos rules I will post below.

Those checkmarks I believe were created by Joel, b...

Lately, I've been getting back into RPG's of all walks of life. I blame this mostly on Joel, as he graciously gifted me Fallout 3, the post-apocalptyic first-person shooter RPG made by Bethesda Software, the makers of other games such as Oblivion and Skyrim. I haven't played it too terribly much yet, maybe eight hours or so, but it's enough to get me hooked. Essentially, the game is set in the nuclear wasteland that was once Washington D.C. and the surrounding areas. I...

So, I've invested some time into a new game. Which game you ask? Why none other than League of Legends! It's a pretty interesting game if I do say so myself. The basic premise of the game is that you are a summoner in the League of Legends, which is essentially a place to settle the scores between countries in Runeterra, the plane of existance the game is set in. As a summoner, you control one of severa...

How does one measure one's worth in the world? I mean, what value could possible measure the unmeasurable worth of what it means to be a good person? That, my friends, is a very tricky question. However, I think I have stumbled across the answer. Oddly enough, I found the answer while reading my friend's blog. A link to the entry that made this measurement possible can be found here. Yes, that's right. The only true way to measure worth is through PLAYSTATION TROPHIES!
