An Indepth Look Into A Geek's Soul

Today was an absolutely glorious day outside.  It got up to around 80 degrees outside, which I haven't seen this side of last year.  The water in the lake is flowing freely and absolutely free of ice, and the sun was out for a good part of the day.  Indeed, few things could have made this day better.  Well, no class would have been nice, but it was only an hour long today so it wasn't all bad.  Did I tell you all that I finished my englsih class alright?  Yeah, t...

There isn't a whole lot going on recently, well at least not a whole lot of any real importance.  We'll just do another random jump around post where I don't really accomplish anything besides waste a couple minutes of your time and a great chunk of mine.  Interesting note on these blogs:  for as short as they are, the time I take writing them would seem to be rather disproportional.

So I'm half stealing this from Joel, who origianally posted this kind of thing on his MySpace blog, and which I was going to on livejournal.  However, I've decided to put it on over here.  It's something that I'll try to do about once a week, on Monday hopefully, but you know how I am, so that could easily not happen.  So without further ado, here it is, my top 10 favorite movies (as of right now.)

So in my day to day light ramblings, I happened to stumble back across a beloved old friend of mine that I had totally forgotten about over the course of a year or so.  It's the lovely site Pandora.  It's a pretty sweet site.  What it is is a free internet radio site playing music that is more or less catered to what you like to listen to.  Let me explain this in a bit more depth.  You sign up for the site and it asks you to type in the name of a song, artist, whateve...

I feel like rambling on and on today.  Not sure exactly how long, but long enough to make at least one of you happy.  Lets start with my recent Star Wars fixation.  This is something that comes and goes. It's nice, cause I always have tons of material to fall back on when it does rear it's head again.  Well it's here again, and this time around I'm getting into the Star Wars Miniatures game (which was what the last post was about) and some of the comics.  Yes, comics....

Alright guys, as some of you may have heard, I've recently taken an interest in that Star Wars Miniatures game.  It's a lot of fun.  I think the biggest reason I like it is because they aren't making the Dungeons and Dragons Miniatures game anymore.  They'll still have the pieces but will only be for the role playing game aspect of it now.  Nope, with the Star Wars Miniatures, the game is still (I think) going strong.  Plus, I'm actually going to play the game instead...

Best Buy has been getting me rather angry lately.  It's rather hellah annoying.  I'm getting absolutely no hours lately.  This week I'm getting a 8.5 hours, and next week I get a whole 5.5 hours.  That's one day I work next week.  One damn day.  It's all like, oh hey, we don't want to fire you, we're just hoping that you'll quit.  I mean damn, what kind of workplace does that to you?  Sometimes it just pisses me off so much.

Sorry about the delay in posting a new one of these in so long.  Okay, not really all that long, it's only been three days afterall, but still, it's longer than I would have hoped for when it comes down to it.  I want it done everyday, realistically I hope to get it done at least every other day.  So, going three days with no blog  is just wrong.  It's not like I have any real reason for not updating.  I've just been sitting at my grandfather's, not being social....
